ECI 523 Teacher as Researcher


My Project:
In this class I conducted action research on how using Multiple Intelligences within Differentiated Instruction can engage gifted students in the classroom.   

Artifact:
Below is an example of one of the Tic Tac Toe Choice Board I used in my action research along with my action research paper.

Students were given Tic Tac Toe Choice Boards to complete while reading a story.  Each activity included on the Tic Tac Toe incorporated a different multiple intelligence.  I found that students looked forward to class time when they would be able to engage in this activity.  The enjoyed the fact that they could choose which activities they wanted to complete instead of only completing activities that were assigned to them by the teacher.
